Turning a Goal for Her Parents into a Clear Plan
How professional athlete Sarah Tagotuki found the confidence and support to begin working towards buying a home for her parents.
The Challenge
Sarah had always wanted to help her parents own a home and make their dream come true. While the goal was important to her, she needed the right support to make it a priority and start moving forward.
“I’ve always had this goal of wanting to get my parents a home and just make their dream come true. I thought, why not try and go down that track and put more focus and priority on it? Then I met the Galaxy team and everything kicked off from there.”
The Approach
After seeing Galaxy help two other players from Western Sydney, Sarah was introduced to the team through her playing agent. Their experience supporting athletes gave her the confidence to begin pursuing her goal.
The Outcome
With Galaxy behind her, Sarah was able to put greater focus on her goal and take the next steps with confidence. She now hopes her experience will inspire the next generation of athletes to begin planning for their own financial futures.
