Stephen, a talented Pasifika athlete, had a clear goal — to use his sporting career to create security for his family and one day buy his parents a home.
After speaking with his agent and teammates, Stephen joined Galaxy Sport in early 2021 ready to take control of his financial future.
THE PLAN
We started with Galaxy Sport’s Payroll Diversion method, automatically directing part of Stephen’s salary into a separate savings account that wasn’t easily accessible.
Additional income from representative honours, bonuses and endorsements followed the same system, allowing his savings to grow alongside his career.
The plan was simple: look after his parents, build his own asset base and eventually secure a forever home for his growing family.
THE RESULT
In 2022, Stephen achieved his childhood dream and purchased a home for his parents.
In 2024, Galaxy Sport helped him purchase his first investment property in a growing coastal Queensland location.
After securing a five-year contract extension with the Bulldogs in 2025, Stephen was ready for the next stage. Working with Stephen and his wife, we helped negotiate the purchase of their forever family home.
With a young daughter now part of the family, the next stage is focused on reducing debt and continuing to build long-term financial security.
