From mum's bank account to his first investment property. Jonah's move to independent, automated finances has matched his rise to NRL contract security.

When Jonah joined Galaxy Sport in early 2024, the talented Central Coast junior already had a strong foundation. He was a good saver, with his money safely tucked away in his mum’s bank account and plenty of family support around him.
But as his NRL career developed, it was time for Jonah to take greater control of his own finances and start preparing for the opportunities ahead.
THE PLAN
We introduced Galaxy Sport’s Payroll Diversion method, automatically directing Jonah’s income into savings while giving him a simple weekly amount to live on.
This allowed Jonah to concentrate on his football and recovery from a serious ACL injury while his financial plan continued working in the background.
As his career progressed, so did the strategy — with property identified as the next step in building long-term wealth.
THE RESULT
Jonah has since secured his playing future with an upgraded NRL contract and, with Galaxy Sport’s help, purchased his first investment property in a carefully selected growth location.
On completion, the property was valued approximately $140,000 above Jonah’s purchase price — giving him an outstanding start to his property journey.
Despite his growing success, Jonah has maintained the same disciplined savings habits and continues to live within a structured weekly allowance.
With his first investment behind him and his playing future secured, the next goal is already clear: build his savings towards buying a home of his own.
