Jack was Galaxy Sport’s very first player. At just 16, he was still at school and beginning his journey in professional sport.
With few expenses at that age, we saw an opportunity to establish good habits early. Instead of letting his new income become spending money, we helped Jack start a savings plan — small actions that would eventually deliver big results.
THE PLAN
Jack’s career has taken him from the NRL to the Super League and back to the Penrith Panthers, where he played an instrumental role in their dramatic 2023 Grand Final comeback victory.
Despite not always being on the biggest contracts, Jack remained consistent with the financial habits he established as a teenager.
After five years of saving, in 2019 we helped Jack purchase an investment property on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast for $720,000 through our Buyers Agency.
THE RESULT
We call it “the house Jack has never been inside.”
Purchased with initial debt of around $620,000, the property has since been valued at $1.8 million and is currently returning $1,100 per week in rent — a great example of the benefits of borderless investing and buying where the opportunity is, not simply where you live.
Since then, Jack has also purchased a beautiful home with his wife, Hannah. Our relationship has grown alongside them, and we were honoured to host their engagement party at our home and later attend their fairytale wedding.
